Abstract (en)
The drive mechanism, esp. for a sheet material cutting press, consists of a drive roller (11) and an associated rotary brush (12), forming an assembly located between the lower and upper sections of a margin table with a spring to apply a pressure against the upper surface of the sheet materials. The rotary brush is turned by the drive roller through a ring (53) set on a cylindrical head (51) connected to brush shaft (50). The ring is applied with a certain pressure against the inner surface of a circular chamber (47) inside the drive roller by the movement of a bearing (22). The roller and brush assembly is mounted on one end of a lever (21) pivoted to a bar on the upper section of the margin table.
