Abstract (en)
The assembly element has a H-shaped cross-section and is fitted into slots (2, 3) in the facing surfaces of two components (1), with a projection (4) in between each pair of slots. The assembly element comprises a central cross-piece (9) which fits between the two components, and two side-pieces (11, 12) on either side of it, with the side pieces having projecting contact surfaces to engage with the sides of the slots and projections and lock the assembly element in place. It also has lateral projections in the middle of the side pieces, made with concave thrust surfaces to ensure stable positioning.
