Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0684357A2] During excessive acceleration the handle (3) is prevented from acceleration movement through a double-armed swivel lever (11) which has an extra mass (13) and resetting spring (16). The lever (11) is designed so that when the extra mass moves in the opening direction of the door, its second lever arm (14) engages sideways into a recess (7) in the handle shaft (5) and prevents this from moving outwards. The second lever arm has a hooked attachment (15) engaging in the recess (7). The first lever arm (12) which holds the extra mass has a locking part (17) which snaps into a suitable groove-shaped recess (18) in the handle guide (2).
