[origin: EP0684613A2] A semiconductive polymer member is provided which comprises a semiconductive polymer composition, a polymer matrix and a conductive agent so that the member has an electric resistance ranging from 1 x 10<5> OMEGA .cm to 1 x 10<1><0> OMEGA .cm when measured under conditions of a temperature of from 15 to 32.5 DEG C, a relative humidity of from 10 to 85% and a measuring potential of from 10 to 5000 V and has a positional variation in the electric resistance of not larger than +/-20%. In addition, the electric resistance determined under conditions of a temperature of 15 DEG C and a relative humidity of 10% is not larger than 50 times an electric resistance determined under conditions of a temperature of 32.5 DEG C and a relative humidity of 85%. When the semiconductive polymer member is in the form of a roller, such a roller is suitable for use in electrophotography especially when it is employed in combination with a power supply for transfer devices, or a constant current or voltage power supply.
