Abstract (en)
The socket is made of plastic and includes a cylindrical body, with two shells (1,2), which house a base (3) receiving a bulb. Two metallic contacts (5), connected to electrical conductors for power supply, are located at the bottom of the base. The two shells are held by a ring (6) which compresses the lower part of the shells, when assembled. Each shell is provided with elastic extensions (11,21) which engage corresponding recesses in the ring. <IMAGE>
