[origin: WO9419524A1] One of the components of the disclosed nonwoven fabric consists of a voluminous pile of curled fibers or filaments and another component consists of a supporting nonwoven fabric bearing or containing fibers which may be reactivated by heating into an adhesive without losing their fibrous structure. The curled pile fibers or filaments are bonded to the surface of the supporting nonwoven fabric the reactivated adhesive fibers of which constitute an adhesive.
