[origin: EP0685422A1] The erection device has a hydraulically operated work cylinder (5). A length-adjustable support (4) is mounted parallel to the work cylinder. It is adaptable to the lifting height of the cylinder and forms a combination unit attached to both the vertical column (2) and the supporting base frame (1) of the crane. The work cylinder combined with the support can be connected to the column and frame by connecting bolts. The support (4) comprises an outer supporting tube and an inner displaceable supporting tube. An adjustment nut guided inside the outer tube has axially an inner thread and radially a full-length oblong hole for holding a push-in bolt. <IMAGE>
