Abstract (en)
The grid cooler for cooling hot material from a kiln, such as cement clinker, has a dedicated take-off conveyor (12-14) for each chamber (6-8) along the grid length, except for the final chamber (9), for the material dropping through the grid. The ends (12b, 13b, 14b) to receive the material are in the lower sections (6a-8a) of the chambers, to be taken out through a sealing build-up unit from the chambers. The delivery ends (12c-14c) of the conveyors are open at least partially to the final chamber (9) extending at least to a material extraction unit (11) in the final chamber (9). <IMAGE>

Dieser erfindungsgemäße Rostkühler enthält eine Rostfläche (4), unter der mit Druckluft beaufschlagbare Kammern (6,7,8,9) hintereinander angeordnet sind, aus deren Unterteilen (6a,7a,8a,9a) Rostdurchfallgut abgefördert wird. Eine den Erfordernissen jeder Kammer anpaßbare Abförderung (12,13,14) von angesammeltem Rostdurchfallgut bei zuverlässiger Abdichtung wird dadurch ermöglicht, daß außer einer in Rostlängsrichtung letzten Kammer (9) jeder anderen Kammer eine gesonderte Abfördereinrichtung (12,13,14) zugeordnet ist, die mit ihrem Gutaufnahmeende (12c,13c,14c) im zugehörigen Kammerunterteil angeordnet ist, durch eine Gutaufstaueinrichtung abgedichtet aus dieser Kammer herausgeführt ist und in der letzten Kammer im Bereich einer Gutaustragseinrichtung (11) offen endet. <IMAGE>
