[origin: EP0686749A2] The device has a three position connection rod mechanism with at least one tilting bearing on the lower spar (4) of the window frame (1). The tilting bearing consists of a pressing can eccentric (15) and a latch hook attached to the connecting rod (14) and a one-piece locking strip (7) comprising a central one-sided opening (8) between two locking pockets having two shoulders (11,12). The eccentric is mushroom shaped. It contacts the underside of the first locking pocket to prevent lifting tilting or swinging when in the locked position. The latch hook contacts the second locking pocket similarly to limit movement when in the tilting position. When in the swinging position both eccentric and latch hook can move freely out of the central one-sided opening. <IMAGE>
