[origin: EP0686806A1] The lamp (1) has a housing (2), which has a front opening (5) with a rim (6), and has side walls (3) extending into a wall opening (18). The lamp can be fastened in the wall opening by fixing elements (10), which can move along guide rails (9) on the side walls, between the front (4) and rear (7) of the housing. The guide rails slope rearwards behind the frontal cross-section of the housing, and the fixing elements have surfaces to enable them to grip the wall from the rear. When near the rim, the elements project over the frontal cross-section, and when distant from the rim they withdraw behind it. <IMAGE>
