Abstract (en)
A double layered cooling bed is made up of a lower precooled lower layer (10) coated with an upper layer (11) of hot material. The layers are separated by a wall-like dam (18) made up of some of the material. The top layer passes to crusher rollers (16) while the bottom layer falls through shaft (15) onto table (20). The height of the dam (18) is controlled by the inclination of slide surface (17) which can be adjusted. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Zweischichtkühler mit einem am Kühlerende vorgesehenen Brecher (16), dem eine Leitfläche vorgeschaltet ist, die so flach geneigt ist, daß sich auf ihr eine ruhende Gutzone (18) ausbildet, die die Trenneinrichtung zur Trennung der oberen und unteren Gutschicht (10,11) bildet. Ein derartiger Zweischichtkühler zeichnet sich durch eine besondere Wartungsfreiheit und Störungssicherheit im Bereich der Trenneinrichtung aus. <IMAGE>
