[origin: WO9518898A1] A building board (1) has at least one inwardly expanded groove (3) on its face which in the mounted state of the board faces the inside of a room, i.e. on its face opposite to the room-delimiting ceiling or wall. An outwardly invisible current conductor rail (5, 6) is arranged at each edge of the groove in such a way that it has at least one non-insulated longitudinal edge (5a, 6a) oriented towards the inside of the groove. Two double-pole sockets (10, 11) are arranged at the other surface of the board. One current conductor rail is connected to one pole of the socket and the other current conductor rail is connected to the other pole of the socket. These boards may be used for creating a suspended ceiling or walls of permanent rooms, as well as for creating exhibition stands for fairs in which there is a need for changing from time to time the arrangement of the light sources used.
