Abstract (en)
The installation comprises a pipe (52) for supplying the coating product to the sprayer (53) and a purge diverter (55) for controlled flushing out (57) near one end of the pipe. The purge diverter has two branches (55a,55b) which can be interrupted by valves (56,59). One branch (55b) includes a calibrated restrictor (58). There is an injection phase of air and solvent into the pipe followed by a filling stage of the pipe with a new product until this reaches the diverter. The local flow section is temporarily reduced towards the diverter at a time after the end of the air and solvent injection phase and before the end of the filling phase. The end of the filling phase is controlled by a signal from a product sensor (60) located in the diverter.
