Abstract (en)
A new flexible container is described, of spindle (1) shape, for the maritime transportation of drinking water by towing (3) of same by a tugboat (2). The container has longitudinal reinforcement members (8) and an emptying and filling tube (5), provided with orifices (7), which runs along the full length of the bottom of the container and emerges at its mouths (6) for connection to two systems of valves situated on two floating platforms (4). At the mouths of the container (6) are fitted two linkage cylinders (16) on which are secured the ends of the walls of the container, the ends of the reinforcement members (8) and the tug guide cable (3). <IMAGE>
