[origin: JPH084622A] PURPOSE: To avoid penetration of liquid into the inside of a valve to eliminate corrosion on contact pins or on a coil wire. CONSTITUTION: In this fuel injection valve, a protective sleeve 50 at least radially completely surrounds a valve housing 1. The protective sleeve 50 is formed such that at least a prescribed part of the protective sleeve 50 is apart from the valve housing 1 to form a chamber 54. One end part of the protective sleeve 50 is tightly connected with a plastic covering body 43, while the other end part of the protective sleeve 50 has a play to the valve housing 1.
