Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2721352A1] The pump has an inclined plate (9) interacting with the rounded heads (14) of hollow axial pistons (13), and an intake chamber (8). The pump body (1) is cast in one piece with two sections, the first (1a) having a cylindrical chamber containing the pump shaft (5) and its bearings (4), while the second has a chamber containing the inclined plate on the end of the shaft and a cylindrical core (11) with parallel faces (11a,11b), traversed by channels (12) containing the pistons. A second cylindrical core (16) has a flat front face applied against the rear face (11b) of the first core and carries non-return valves (17) facing each of the piston channels, while its rear end has a circular shoulder (18). A stopper (19) is screwed into the second section of the pump body and presses against the second core's shoulder to hold the two cores close together.
