[origin: DE4417538A1] The combustion chamber has an inflow zone and a combustion zone in succession in the same flow direction. The inflow zone (5) has vortex generators (100,101,102). Several of these are fitted against each other around the through-flow channel. There is a pre-mixing zone (7) downstream of the inflow zone. In this zone, a secondary jet of liquid fuel (9) can be blown into the main gas fuel flow (4). There is a step (12) in the cross section between the pre-mixing zone and the combustion zone (11). This step sets the initial flow cross section of the combustion zone.

Bei einer im wesentlichen aus einer Zuströmzone (5) und einer Verbrennungszone (11) bestehenden Brennkammer mit Selbstzündung, weist die Zuströmzone (5) Wirbel-Generatoren (100) auf, von denen über den Umfang des durchströmten Kanals mehrere nebeneinander angeordnet sind. Stromab der Zuströmzone (5) schliesst sich eine Vormischzone (7) an, in welche ein gasförmiger und/oder flüssiger Brennstoff (9) als Sekundärströmung in eine gasförmige Hauptströmung (4) eingedüst wird. Zwischen Vormischzone (5) und der nachgeschalteten Verbrennungszone (11) ist der Uebergang durch einen Querschnittssprung (12) charakterisiert, der den anfänglichen Strömungsquerschnitt der Verbrennungszone (11) induziert. Die Eindüsung des Brennstoffes (9) geschieht über eine Anzahl am Umfang verteilte Brennstofflanzen (8), wobei hier der Brennstoff (9) mit einem Anteil Stützluft (10) angereichert ist. <IMAGE>
