[origin: DE4417538A1] The combustion chamber has an inflow zone and a combustion zone in succession in the same flow direction. The inflow zone (5) has vortex generators (100,101,102). Several of these are fitted against each other around the through-flow channel. There is a pre-mixing zone (7) downstream of the inflow zone. In this zone, a secondary jet of liquid fuel (9) can be blown into the main gas fuel flow (4). There is a step (12) in the cross section between the pre-mixing zone and the combustion zone (11). This step sets the initial flow cross section of the combustion zone.
