[origin: FR2721389A1] The artillery-piece has a firing mechanism with a percussion rod (12) which is able to slide axially in a housing (13), a lock (18) to hold the rod in the cocked position, and a release mechanism for the lock. It also has a slideway (19) which operates axially inside the housing. The rod can slide relative to the slideway with or against the action of a cocking spring (17), while the lock is mounted on the slideway or the rod. The firing mechanism also contains return components to hold the slideway and rod in the long firing position, comprising projections (22) inside the slideway which interact with outward projections (23) on the rod.

Le dispositif (6) comporte un coulisseau (19) adapté à coulisser en direction axiale à l'intérieur du boîtier (13), la tige de percussion (12) est adaptée à coulisser en direction axiale par rapport au coulisseau (19) sous l'action ou contre l'effet du ressort d'armement antagoniste (17) qui est disposé entre le coulisseau (19) et la tige (12), les moyens formant verrou (18) sont montés sur le coulisseau (19) ou sur la tige (12) et sont adaptés à verrouiller la tige (12) en position armée par rapport au coulisseau (19). Le dispositif (6) comporte en outre des moyens de rappel adaptés, en cas de long feu, à ramener vers l'arrière (16) du boîtier (13) le coulisseau (19) et la tige (12) dans des positions de long feu prédéterminées respectives, et des moyens pour déplacer le coulisseau (19) ou la tige (12) l'un par rapport à l'autre à partir desdites positions de long feu prédéterminées respectives afin de replacer la tige (12) dans sa position armée verrouillée par rapport au coulisseau (19).
