Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0688523A1] The seat (7) and back (16) of the sofa each hold a mattress (8,17). One end of a command rod (10) pivots (11) on the end of the seat. Its other end is joined (12) to a rod (13) which pivots on the back support (14). A spring (20), between this rod and the seat, helps the movement of the seat and back. The intermediate part of the command rod pivots on an axle (9) on the sofa's frame (2). The seat is joined to the frame by a pivoting rod (4) and the back is articulated round an axle (19) on a support (18) fixed to the frame. <IMAGE>
