Abstract (en)
An ultrasonic system used for spread fabric piece-goods passing through a liquid medium, to increase the effect of the medium on the material, has adjacent ultrasonic transmitters with radiator horns (4a) forming an air gap (4d) at their end surfaces (4b,4c) with a narrow width, where they face each other. The end surfaces (4b,4c) are chamfered or stepped so that the radiating surfaces of adjacent horns (4a) partially overlap, parallel to each other and across the line of the ultrasonic assembly. Also claimed is a piece-goods processing assembly where a flat limit surface is below the radiating surfaces of the ultrasonic system, to define a gap between them for the material to pass through, across the width of the fabric, with a horizontal fabric movement path. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Bei einer Ultraschallgeberanordnung zur Ultraschallbehandlung von breit geführtem Textilgut in einem flüssigen Medium, mit mehreren in einer Reihe im Abstand voneinander angeordneten Ultraschallgebern, deren Abstrahlhörner eben ausgebildete und in einer gemeinsamen Ebene liegende Abstrahlflächen aufweisen, wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Abstrahlhörner (4a) einander benachbarter Ultraschallgeber im Bereich ihrer Stirnflächen (4b, 4c) unter Bildung eines Luftspalts (4d) geringer Breite aneinander angrenzen, wobei die Stirnflächen (4b, 4c) so ausgebildet sind, daß die Abstrahlflächen der benachbarten Abstrahlhörner (4a) einander, in zu den Abstrahlflächen paralleler und zur Längserstreckung der Ultraschallgeberanordnung senkrechter Richtung gesehen, teilweise überlappen. <IMAGE>
