[origin: EP0688959A1] The power cylinder consists of an extruded body (2) with a lengthwise aperture (3), sliding in relation to a fixed piston (9) connected to a support (6) by a rod (4). The cylinder's body has two or more lengthwise guide rods (5) which interact with bearings (15), at least one of which is adjustable. The power cylinder has two hydraulic shock absorbers mounted on its body and acting in opposite directions, while the body itself is guided by the L-section support (6). Each side of the support has at least one lengthwise groove (20) which can receive an adjustable stop situated in the path of one of the shock absorbers. <IMAGE>
