Abstract (en)
The ski boot consists of a lower section (1) which covers the foot and heel, and a leg section (4) which is pivoted to it. The two sections are equipped with stops (15,20) at the back. A fixed stop (20) on the lower section interacts with a movable stop (15) on the leg section which interacts with it and holds the leg section in an inclined position for skiing downhill. The movable stop has an attached arm (22) which passes through the wall of the leg section on the outside of the boot so it can be moved by a vertical pressure applied by a ski stick. The horizontal pivot (16) of the movable stop is connected to a sleeve (18) containing a screw adjuster or shock absorber. <IMAGE>

Chaussure de ski constituée d'une partie inférieure (1) et d'une tige (4, 12) articulée sur la partie inférieure et comprenant, à l'arrière, une butée mobile (15) montée sur l'une des parties de la chaussure et coopérant avec une butée fixe (20) montée sur l'autre partie de la chaussure pour maintenir la tige en position de descente, inclinée vers l'avant. La butée mobile (20) est munie d'un bras (22) traversant la tige de la chaussure sur son côté extérieur de manière à pouvoir être actionnée par un bâton. <IMAGE>
