[origin: EP0690196A1] The window has a movable frame accommodating panes of bulletproof glass, and a fixed frame secured to the masonry. A cover on the frame also gives bulletproof protection to the pane edge. The cover (6,7) is spring-mounted on the frame (3), and a gap can be left between it and the frame accommodating one or more springs (15). It can be of metal, with screwed bolts (10) welded to it on the side towards the frame, these fitting in drillings (11) in the latter. Nuts (13) can be fitted to the bolts on the inside of the frame. The springs can be of the plate type, fitting between the frame and the metal cover. <IMAGE>
