Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0690210A1] The regeneration filter uses a throttle (10,12,14) associated with each parallel section (2,4,6) of the filter, inserted in the diesel engine exhaust tract, providing controlled full or partial throttling of the exhaust flow through at least one filter section, in dependence on the detected exhaust gas temp. downstream of the filter. Pref. each of the filter sections has a respective throttle (10,12,14) inserted in its input (5a,5b,5c) and a respective temp. measuring device (9,11,13) incorporated in its output (7a,7b,7c), coupled to an electronic control device (100) for adjusting the throttles. <IMAGE>
