[origin: EP0690469A1] The horizontal (12) and vertical (16) deflection coil arrangements for use in a cathode tube are mechanically coupled together such that adjustment is possible. The vertical arrangement has a ferrite ring (18) that has a number of lugs (19) on the periphery and these have clearance holes to receive fixing pins (22). The pins are located accurately in the winding head unit (14.2). The deflection coil assembly can be accurately adjusted before fixing elements (24) are tightened. <IMAGE>
