Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0691088A2] The insole of the shoe consists of two birch-wood part-layers (3.1, 3.2). The second part layer (3.2) has a grain which includes an angle of 45 to 90 deg. to the lengthwise direction (4) of the foot. The second part-layer is positioned on the side of the first part-layer facing the sole (5) of the shoe. The sole is made of polymeric material. An intermediate layer (6) at least 0.8 mm thick made of polymeric material is moulded in its fluid state to the second part-layer. The Shore hardness A of 80 to 90 of the intermediate layer is harder than that of the sole of the shoe, of 60 to 70 A. <IMAGE>
