Abstract (en)
The wire (66) is indexed in its lengthwise direction through a guide (96), after which a cutting tool (100) parts it off into lengths (40). Each of these is then secured in the gap (70) between holders (72,76), part (78) of it protruding from the gap. The tool (34) if the stapling head moves past the holders at right angles to the wire. The holders move in relation to each other from the rest position into the clamping one (94') narrowing the gap and back again, and the holder mechanism (64) is so mounted in relation to the guide that the leading end of the wire is thrust forward between the holders while they are in the free position. They are transferred into the clamping one before the cutting operation is over. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Halteeinrichtung (64) des Drahtabschnittspenders (38) weist ein zungenartiges erstes Halteelement (72) und ein zweites Halteelement (76) auf. Letzteres ist aus einer Ruhestellung (94) in eine den Spalt (70) verengende Klemmstellung (94') und wieder zurück bewegbar. Bei sich in Ruhestellung (94) befindendem zweiten Halteelement (76) wird der Heftdraht (66) in den Spalt (70) vorgeschoben und dann durch Verbringen des zweiten Halteelements (76) in die Klemmstellung (94') festgeklemmt. Synchron mit dem zweiten Halteelement (76) wird das Schneidelement (100) bewegt, welches den Drahtabschnitt (40) vom Heftdraht (66) abtrennt. Die Heftklammerführung (26) eines Heftkopfs (18) läuft mit seinem Mitnahmeorgan (34) in Drehrichtung (D) auf den Drahtabschnitt (40) auf und nimmt diesen unter Ueberwindung der Haltekraft mit. <IMAGE>
