Abstract (en)
A technique for the continuous production and laying of cold or emulsion macadam on a road or other hard surface involves the use of mobile apparatus containing a mixing chamber (6) in which the macadam is made up from its raw materials. The mobile apparatus includes means (7) for depositing a primer layer of binder on the surface to be covered, before feeding the macadam onto the surface. The macadam is then distributed laterally and pressed and formed by an adjustable screed (9) to make a surface of the chosen depth. <MATH>
