Abstract (en)
The vehicle door hinge comprises a base hinge (1) and a door hinge (3) which are pivoted along an axis (5'). A retaining catch mechanism (10) has a frame (11) connected to rotate with the base hinge. A pivoting lever (20), mounted on the frame and pivoting about the axis, has a rotating roller (31) at one end. A movable cam (40) with a catch is supported by a spring against the roller so that the catch can engage on the roller and retain it. The lever is connected to rotate with the door hinge by a coupling (70) which has non-circular support surfaces. The coupling, comprising an axial element (21) fixed to rotate with the lever, has two external opposite surfaces either side the pivoting axis. A lock (71) fixed to the door hinge has two branches with internal surfaces and clamps which hold together the two branches in order to maintain the external surfaces pressed against the interior surfaces. <IMAGE>

La présente invention concerne une charnière de porte à cran de retenue, notamment dans un véhicule automobile, comportant un mécanisme de retenue silencieux, très résistant à l'usure et souple d'utilisation. Le mécanisme de retenue (10) comporte un levier pivotant (20) monté sur un bâti (11) de manière pivotante autour de l'axe de pivotement (5') de la charnière et pourvu d'un galet rotatif (31) à une extrémité du levier, et, une came mobile (40) pourvue d'au moins un cran et sollicitée par des moyens élastiques (61) pour être appuyée contre ledit galet (31). Le levier pivotant (20) est lié au charnon de porte (3) au moyen d'un élément axial (21) solidaire d'un organe de blocage (71) en forme d'étrier fixé au charnon de porte (3). Les moyens élastiques comportent un bloc en élastomère (61) solidaire à la fois du bâti (11) et de la came (40) et agencé pour travailler en torsion autour d' un axe parallèle à l'axe de pivotement (5') de la charnière.
