Abstract (en)

A consumable anode consists of in wt.% 20-70 Fe, 20-40 Co, and 5-30 Al. The anode may also contain max. 20% Ni, max. 10 Ti, max. 5 Cu, and max. 5 Nb. The effluent is passed into the reactor (2) fitted with anode (12), cathode (10), reference electrode (16), system to control the temperature (18) and a heat exchanger (20). The pH of the effluent is maintained at a value of at least 1 by system (5) and some of the resultant sludge from the reactor bottom is recycled back to the reactor via device (24). The rest of the sludge is passed to a solid/liquid separator (34). To decontaminate liquid effluents which have low level radioactivity. <IMAGE>

Abstract (fr)

<IMAGE>
