Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0692286A1] The fixing includes retaining jaws (10,11) for the boot ferrule and aligned with the median plane by a return spring (15). The jaw has a pivot (19) for modifying the disengagement threshold of the jaw from one side or the other of the median plane. The shoe has local reference markers on the right and left of the boot. These are a part of the ankle or sole and are recessed on either side of the median plane. The jaw has mechanical sensors (38) which are activated differentially by the reference markers. Mechanical connectors (30,31) between the sensor and the pivot modify the disengagement threshold on one displacement side of the jaw. This is determined by the mechanical adjustment of the boot. <IMAGE>
