Abstract (en)
The method involves the rotary direction of the rotary atomisers (10), which apply the paint laterally as the objects pass along, being set depending on the position of the relevant atomiser in relation to the direction of movement of the object. The rotary direction can be fixed so that the left hand atomisers, seen in the direction of translatory movement, are set to rotate clockwise, and the right hand atomisers, seen in the same direction, are set to rotate anti-clockwise. The change in the rotary direction of the atomisers can be produced by changing over the drive energy. The drive motor (12) is preferably a turbine motor having two oppositely aligned current supply directions (18,19) for the drive medium, e.g. compressed air. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Auftragen von Flüssiglacken auf Oberflächen von Gegenständen, vorzugsweise von Fahrzeugkarosserien, die kontinuierlich in einer Lackierstraße translatorisch an Rotationszerstäubern (10) vorbei bewegt werden und hierbei von den Rotationszerstäubern (10) seitlich und von oben mit Lackauftragsfluid beaufschlagt werden, wobei die Drehrichtung der für den seitlichen Farbauftrag vorgesehenen Rotationszerstäuber (10) in Abhängigkeit von der Position des jeweiligen Rotationszerstäubers (10) in bezug auf die Bewegungsrichtung des Auftragsobjektes eingestellt wird sowie einen Rotationszerstäuber (10), der einen Turbinenmotor als Antrieb aufweist, der mit wenigstens zwei entgegengerichteten Zuströmöffnungen für das Antriebsmedium aufweist. <IMAGE>
