Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0692351A2] The compactor has vibratory elements which are in the form of suspended vibrators (32). A production pallet is supported on a row of spaced-apart, rectangular swing frames (26). The suspended vibrator is fixed to the inside of a vertical frame wall (36) by a base plate (34). A vibrator housing (42) supporting a balancing weight (46) is swivel mounted on a suspension axle (40). The suspended vibrators have variable oscillating frequencies (f). Each swing frame has a top fixture in the form of conical centring bolts fitting into the palette sleeves (50), for attaching the production pallet horizontally. Hoists raise and lower the palette onto the swing frames. <IMAGE>
