Abstract (en)
The mechanical brush has a motor drive (9) rotating a wheel (2) with attachments (3) e.g. wire or flat steel tufts, plastics braided rope or tassels hung from joints (7) around the circumference. The attachments are connected by links (8) to a central disc which is turned by a powered positioning device (5) e.g. spindle or hydraulic cylinder to set the angle (4) of the attachments w.r.t the wheel. The wheel rotates with the attachments set at an angle adjusted to allow free low level access to weeds growing near obstructions. The wheel can be pushed down, transmitting the force to the free ends of the attachments rigidly held set at the chosen angle to make positive contact with the surface to be cleared. <IMAGE>

Vorrichtung zum Abkehren von befestigten Flächen, die mit Wildkräutern aller Art be- und durchwachsen sind, ausgestaltet als Bürsteneinrichtung, die mit Hilfe eines Tellerbesens (2), der mechanisch mit Hilfe eines Getriebes oder hydraulisch mit Hilfe eines Ölmotors (9) in Rotation versetzt wird und die verkrauteten Flächen abbürstet, in der Form ausgestaltet, daß die an dem Tellerbesen (2) befestigten Kehrbüschel (Reinigungsborsten)(3) in der Winkelstellung zum Kehrteller verstellt werden können, so daß beim Bürsten je nach Einsatzverhältnissen die Bürsten senkrecht oder seitlich im Winkel verstellt werden. <IMAGE>
