[origin: EP0692591A1] A telescopic brace for a scaffolding frame unit has a telescopic brace which comprises an inner tube (34), an outer tube (36), means at one end adapted to pivotally connect the brace to the frame, and a coupling (38) at the other end for releasably coupling to the frame or another frame. The tubes are releasably lockable against telescopic movement when the brace is in an extended position by rotation of one tube relative to the other. <MATH>
