Abstract (en)
The procedure consists of controlling the excess air feed to the pot (15), and creating a space (10) above the burner with the aid of a component (9) of a refractory material. The excess air ensures a post-combustion process for at least 50 per cent of the gas issuing from the pot. Part of the gases from the pot and the post-combustion gases are evacuated through orifices (11). The space above the burner is made in the form of a series of linked apertures, while the orifices are distributed between the apertures and the refractory component covers the whole of the pot. <IMAGE>

L'invention propose une technique simple et efficace d'amélioration de la combustion pour un brûleur (8) à vaporisation de combustible liquide du type à pot. Le dispositif rétenteur de gaz (9) réalisé en une seule pièce en matériau céramique de faible inertie thermique, présente une pluralité d'alvéoles (10) et d'orifices (11) répartis entre les alvéoles. Le dispositif rétenteur est posé au-dessus du brûleur de façon à créer dans les alvéoles une post-combustion des gaz issus du brûleur, à augmenter le rendement thermique, à diminuer les émissions de CO et à stabiliser les flammes dans le brûleur. <IMAGE>
