Abstract (en)
The tube (20) passes through holes in a series of cooling fins (10), and has a flattened cross-section with opposite longer sides (22) curving inwards. Prior to the tube's deformation there is a gap (12) of constant width between the tube and the edge of the hole in the fin. The two rounded ends (24) of the pipe have a radius of curvature which is more than twice the pipe's external width at the narrowest point of the longer sides. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un tube pour échangeur de chaleur. Le tube (20) présente, avant déformation, une section transversale de forme oblongue sensiblement homologue à celle d'un trou (12) d'une ailette (10), le tube (20) comportant deux flancs longitudinaux (22) en regard l'un de l'autre qui sont incurvés et ont leur convexité tournée vers l'intérieur du tube, si bien que le tube (20) présente une largeur extérieure restreinte (ℓ) dans une région où les flancs longitudinaux (22) sont les plus proches l'un de l'autre. Application aux échangeurs de chaleur pour véhicules automobiles. <IMAGE>
