Abstract (en)
A printing plate which can be exposed directly and erased, for wet offset printing, has a surface free of pores and smooth with a roughness Ra of less than 1 um. The surface is hydrophilic or can be made hydrophilic, and contains no strong micro-dipoles. Also claimed is a printing press with a cylinder (1) to carry the printing plate (2), with an eraser and hydrophilic unit (6,7) which can be presented to the cylinder (1). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Durch die Erfindung wird eine wiederholt direkt bebilderbare und löschbare Druckform (2) für ein Naßoffset-Druckverfahren geschaffen. Sie hat eine glatte und porenfreie Oberfläche, die hydrophil oder nach der Bebilderung hydrophilierbar ist. Die Druckform (2) enthält keine starken Mikrodipole und besteht aus einer Keramik, einem Glas oder einem Metall, insbesondere einer Metallegierung. Mittels einer vorzugsweise in der Druckmaschine integrierten Lösch- und Hydrophiliervorrichtung (6,7) läßt sich die Druckform (2) wiederholt löschen und für einen neuen Bebilderungs- und Druckprozeß vorbereiten, d. h. neu hydrophilieren. <IMAGE>
