Abstract (en)
The craft has sides formed from an inflatable tube (2) shaped to form two side branches (3) joined together at the stem and surrounding a V-section bottom (5). The bottom of the craft is also inflatable and made from an elongated and flattened pouch (7). This has a transverse dimension greater than the distance between the side branches, so that its two sides can slope down towards the centre in a shallow V, e.g. of 150 degrees. The bottom of the boat also has a panel of a supple sheet material (9) on which the inflatable pouch rests and is fixed. The pouch is inflated to between 0.6 x 10 power 5 and 0.8 x 10 power 5 Pa. <IMAGE>

Embarcation pneumatique comportant au moins un boudin gonflable (2) formant deux branches (3) parallèles ou sensiblement parallèles se rejoignant vers l'avant pour former une étrave, l'embarcation comportant en outre une carène (5) à section en V qui est entourée, à l'avant et latéralement, par le boudin gonflable (2) ; la carène (5) est une carène pneumatique constituée par au moins une poche gonflable (7) allongée de forme générale sensiblement aplatie et de dimension transversale sensiblement supérieure à l'écartement des deux branches (3) du boudin gonflable, laquelle poche, étant gonflée sous haute pression, forme deux panneaux inclinés transversalement l'un par rapport à l'autre pour présenter une section sensiblement en V et est solidarisée latéralement et à l'avant respectivement aux deux susdites branches du boudin gonflable. <IMAGE>
