Abstract (en)
The package consists of an outer sleeve (5) and an inner container (6) made from a single panel of material, cut and folded to form a square base and double side walls (8,11,9,12). The inner side walls are separated from the outer ones by the flat upper edges of the container, and the inner walls are formed from flaps with tips which lie beneath the lens and on top of the container base. The flaps also has transverse slots to engage with the lens edge. The inner side walls provide a flexible support for the lens. <IMAGE>

L'emballage de protection et de calage entièrement en carton présente quatre rebords en caisson longitudinaux (8) et transversaux (9) dont le panneau latéral interne (11) et (12) est incliné vers l'extérieur et comporte chacun un pli longitudinal d'absorption (20) en position intermédiaire et à sa base une encoche de dégagement (15,25) recevant la portion circulaire inférieure en regard du verre. L'ensemble des découpes et des rebords en caisson constituent une bordure de cadrage et d'automaintien par quatre zones de contact opposées deux à deux. Cette invention intéresse les industriels de l'emballage en carton et les fabricants de verres de lunettes et plus généralement d'autres objets de formes analogues. <IMAGE>
