Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0693609A1] The door-operating drive uses an electric motor and a closure spring, cooperating with a selectively operated blocking device. When the blocking device is operative the door can be operated manually or via the electric motor and when it is released to door is closed by the closure spring. Pref. the blocking device for the closure spring is switched in and out of operation electrically, with automatic switching under control of a smoke detector, fire alarm, etc., or upon failure of the electric operating current. <IMAGE>
