Abstract (en)
The roller blind is wound from a main roller (2) and has the free end secured near the main roller and parallel to it. The roller is deployed by pulling down an increasing double layer loop using a weighted roller. The blind material has a repeated pattern of transmissive and opaque areas. The overall effect of the two layers of blind provide as variable overall transmission. The weighted roller tension the blind. A servo drive on the main roller progressively deploys the blind while the effective transmission of the increasing double loop varies from max. to min. until the required amount of shade/transmission is obtained. The pattern on the blind can be parallel strips, chequer board, repeated pattern, etc.. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
<IMAGE>
