[origin: EP0694493A1] The folding machine (10) has a cam mechanism controlling the relative vertical movement of a pair of folding blades (20,21), a synchronous vertically adjustable feed-in table (60) and a counter-pressure path (80) with at least one pressure cylinder (82). The cam disc shafts are adjustable vertically together with their associated operating drives, which are synchronously coupled. Pref. the cam disc shafts are rotated by a pair of electronically coupled electric motors, or via a T-drive with a single electric motor. <IMAGE>
