[origin: EP0694691A1] The fuel supply device is fitted between the engine and a main tank (10) containing a back-up tank (4), to which fuel is supplied by a jet pump (24) connected to a return lead (22) from the engine. The pump has a jet (48) in a recess (32) in the back-up tank. The pump has an overflow aperture (54) between its input aperture (49) and the jet drive aperture (52). The overflow aperture is connected to a connector (38) projecting into the back-up tank. The connector has a seat (40) on the end, which can be closed by a closer (42). There is a leaf spring (46) in the tank to press the closer to the seat, thus acting as an overflow valve (25) for the overflow aperture. <IMAGE>
