Abstract (en)
The piezo-electric device (9), which connects the watch glass (8) to the watch movement (3), is arranged so as to flex in response to an excitation signal applied to its electrodes. The zones (9a,9b) of the device (9), which respectively fix the device to the glass (8) and the movement (3), are distinct from each other when the watch (1) is viewed in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the principal faces of the device (9). The sound produced by the displacement of the glass (8) when the excitation signal is applied to the electrodes of the device (9) is increased when used in watches. <IMAGE>

Le dispositif piézo-électrique (9) qui relie la glace (8) au mouvement (3) de la pièce d'horlogerie (1) est agencé de manière à se déformer en flexion en réponse à un signal d'excitation appliqué à ses électrodes, les zones de fixation (9a, 9b) de ce dispositif (9) à cette glace (8) et, respectivement, à ce mouvement (3) étant distinctes lune de l'autre lorsque la pièce d'horlogerie (1) est vue dans une direction perpendiculaire aux plans des faces principales du dispositif (9). Grâce à cet arrangement, le son produit par les déplacements de la glace (8) lorsque le signal d'excitation est appliqué aux électrodes du dispositif piézo-électrique (9) est plus intense que dans une pièce d'horlogerie connue. <IMAGE>
