Abstract (en)
The opening time of the main contacts is measured by rectification and limiting of the circuit-breaking arc voltage in a circuit contg. an opto-coupler with a DC source and measuring resistance. The time signals (t0,t1) are applied to a controller (40) which also records the elapsed operating time (T), the number of switching operations (N) and an averaged time difference (t1 minus t0) over a given number of cycles. The measurements and evaluated quantities are stored in non-volatile memory (41) and displayed (45). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Insbesondere bei Schützkontakten, bei denen die Kontaktstücke mit dem Schalten einem Abbrand unterliegen, werden Ersatzkriterien für den Abbrand ausgewertet. Gemäß der Erfindung wird als Ersatzkriterium der sogenannte Kontaktdurchdruck der Schaltstücke gewählt und wird zur Bestimmung des Abbrandes der Kontakte die Durchdruckänderung während des Ausschaltvorganges bestimmt und als Restlebensdauer umgerechnet. Bei einer zugehörigen Anordnung hat eine Prozessoreinheit einen Controller (40), zugehörige Speicher (41) und ein Display zur Anzeige der ermittelten Werte. Gegebenenfalls kann das Schaltgerät selbst entsprechende Anzeigemittel haben. <IMAGE>
