Abstract (en)

A reflector unit for a glow lamp has the bulb and the reflector embedded, or at least partly, in a block of transparent or partly transparent material, this material also being an insulator. The current lead-insÄ6Ü are joined to outside contacts allowing connection to a power supply. The reflector is made from a metal foil and at least part of its surface is located at a short distance from the bulb. The foil may be made from insulating material, in which case the surface facing the bulb is silvered, this being a thin metal layer or a series of dielectric layers with different refractive indexes. <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Eine Lampe-Reflektoreinheit besteht aus einer Lampe, insbesondere Glimmlampe (1) und einem optischen Reflektor, insbesondere eine spiegelnde Folie (2), wobei die Lampe (1) und der Reflektor (2) in einem Block (3) aus mindestens teilweise lichtdurchlässigem Isolierstoff eingebettet sind. Die beiden Stromzuführungen (6a; 6b) der Lampe (1) unterstützen ggf. die Krümmung der Folie (2), sowie deren Justierung bezüglich des Lampenkolbens (4) und sind mit Außenkontakten (13a; 13b) verbunden. Alternativ ist der Reflektor als mindestens eine spiegelnde Schicht ausgebildet, die auf einem Teilbereich der Oberfläche des Lampenkolbens oder des Blocks aufgebracht ist. <IMAGE>
