The fixing element (1) is used to provide an electrical connection between the cable shoe (5) secured to the stripped end (6) of an electrical cable and a further component. The bearing surface of the fixing element is positioned relative to the main part of the cable shoe contact plate (8) to allow its rotation through 360 degrees about the longitudinal axis of the fixing element, without allowing removal from the latter. The fixing element may be provided by a threaded screw or a nut, its bearing surface having a reduced dia. section (11) receiving an annular projection of the contact plate, with their cooperating lipped edges preventing separation of the contact plate and the fixing element. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Beim Montieren von Befestigungselementen mit Gewinde, etwa Schrauben oder Muttern, insbesondere bei derartigen elektrischen Befestigungselemente wie etwa einem zu verschraubenden Kabelschuh, besteht das Problem, daß bei der herkömmlichen Verschraubung einerseits das Kabelende mit dem daran befestigten Kabelschuh, andererseits die notwendige Schraube oder Mutter und als drittes das zum Verschrauben benutzte Werkzeug gehalten und positioniert werden müssen. Um die Montage problemlos auch mit nur zwei Händen durchführen zu können, wird erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagen, an der Anlagefläche (4) des Befestigungselementes (1, 2) zum Hauptteil die Kontaktplatte (8) eines Kabelschuhs (5) so anzuordnen, daß sie um die Längsachse (7) des Befestigungselementes vollständig drehbar, jedoch vom Befestigungselement nicht abnehmbar ist. <IMAGE>
