Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0694997A2] The connection device has a non-conductive elastic sealing element (28') inserted between the abutting components (2,3) incorporating the cooperating contact elements (12,17). Each of the components has a contact surface (42,43) contacted by an electrical conductor (37) embedded in the sealing element so that it extends between the opposing sealing surfaces (32,33). Pref. the sealing element is provided as a sealing plate incorporating a resilient conductor extending perpendicular to the plane of the plate between its opposite sides. Pref. the conductor is made of an elastomer material. <IMAGE>
